I'll eventually move this to scraps with the rest of the elf stuff. No relation to the "Night Elves" - the "Sand Elves" will be much closer to the classic Tolkien kind. They'll just live in the middle of the desert doing whatever elves do -- singing and stuff I guess. No clue what they'll be wearing out there...I'm still fairly new to the fantasy genre, so the details tend to slow me down. The next one will have clothes - I promise!

Good eye, K. Did much of this with a brush pen, then cleaned it up and added hatches here and there with a sharpie.

Hellooooooo hotstuff. I like this idea a lot too, sand elves are cool. Are they nomadic, out of curiousity? Desert people usually are, right?

Thanks. I'm thinkin they'll live in big palaces in the center of the desert, kind of like the Earthbender cities in Avatar. Still working out the details, though... Nomads will make up a good bit of their population either way.
