I'm a bit disappointed in how this one came out. I liked the initial sketches, but somewhere in the inking and coloring stages it lost all its energy. I kind of feel like this one had a chance, but I lost it on the operating table. I'll have to make something really dynamic to make up for it.

*edit* Fixed Frost's hairline - thanks all! As to why I don't like it, the kind of prefer the sketches (I've uploaded to my scraps). I do like how Colossus came out, though.

i have two question.

if you dont like it, why dont you re-do it?

and

did you fix the hairline of emma frost?

I like it a lot, but if you don't, maybe you could try and recolor it? just a thought

Is this painter or PS? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get a painterly effect in PS. And are you digitally inking now?

As for the pic . . . it looks balls out to me. What's bothering you so much?

PS, but colored on a Cintiq at work (tablet monitor). Nope - not digitally inking yet, just experimenting with brush pens. I should have put more action into it.

haha no problem. I'm not that big of a fan of cyclops, frankly he is one of my least favorite characters. but you make him look really cool here. I applaude you :clap:

Eh, even the ones that are outvoting you have flaws. They are poorly compositioned and seem unfinished. I voted for this one because it represented the characters well to me and was finished even for the static group shot.

You're being too anal. And beleive me . . . I KNOW anal.

When you gonna post some tutorials man?
